The Brickyard IGM, Ltd Sladojevci is a company specializing in the production and sale of brick products and ceiling beams and other construction material. It is located by the Podravina highway which connects Zagreb and Osijek, just seven kilometres west of Slatina. It offers a wide selection of products for construction needs with continuous quality, fast delivery and acceptable prices.

 

At the place of the old brickyard which manufactured roof tiles and big and small full brick, in 1976 a new factory with two manufacturing halls was finished and put into operation. It had the most advanced technology for processing clay and manufacturing brick products. This factory’s manufacturing process has been continuously modernised and improved and is still in operation. The main product on which the manufacturing is based is a block of bricks the size of 29 x 19 x 19.

 

A significant year for the factory was 2003, when there was a reconstruction of a part of the manufacturing process which increased the yearly capacity of production from 35 million to 60 million.

 

From its founding in 1900, the Brickyard IGM, Ltd Sladojevci had many forms of organising and ownerships, out of which the significant one took place on December 26, 1992, when it was registered into the court registrar of the Commercial Court in Osijek as Brickyard IGM, Ltd Sladojevci after a successful conversion from state ownership to a corporation with the majority of ownership being in the hands of small stockholders.

 

The decision of the company assembly on August 24, 2003 that the company will become a limited company was entered into the court registrar of the Commercial Court in Bjelovar under the name Brickyard IGM, Ltd Sladojevci.

 

The hundred year tradition, rich experience, as well as the application of corresponding technology resulted in extraordinary achievements in goods manufacturing from the area of brick production, to which multiple – year supplies of high quality raw materials contribute as well.

 

These exact circumstances, along with hardworking people of this productive part of Slavonia are a guarantee of successful business and development of this factory, and with that, of progress for this part of Croatia.
