The technological manufacturing process consists of four phases:

• exploitation and processing of brick clay
• forming of brick products
• drying of brick products
• firing of brick products

The exploitation of clay is done on the surface of the excavation located directly by the factory. The excavated clay is transported to the hall for processing where it is crushed up and processed. The processed clay is further transported to the pool for resting in a way where different layers of thickness are put together depending on what is exploited and the quality and physical characteristics of clay, making a mixture of optimum quality for the next phase in the manufacturing process.

The forming is done by a vacuum press which, under high pressure and sucking out of air, presses the clay through corresponding models (shapes) depending on the set of products which is formed. The formed product is cut into corresponding dimensions and transported to the driers.

The way and period of drying depend on the product dimensions. The products are dried by warm air which is mixed and pointed towards the product with the help of ventilators.

The dried products are piled onto wagons which are transported into the furnace. The furnace is tunnel – shaped and there are 32 wagons inside which move in determined intervals depending on the product being fired. When there is a new wagon at the furnace entrance, the mechanism for pulling pulls the composition and at the furnace exit, the wagon with fired brick exits. The firing phase is divided into three zones: warm up zone, firing zone and cooling zone. In the firing zone, a mixture of gas and air is added through the burners on the ceiling, and then it lights up and fires the products on the wagons.   

The fired products are piled onto wooden palettes, wrapped up in foil and transported to the warehouse.
